5 tapestries

3 produced in hand embroidered technique
2 hand-woven goblins

200 x 300 cm

The assignment contains the design and realisation of five wall tapestries for five different municipalities in the Westland area. In the near future these will be united in one municipality. The tapestries will be placed in the new town hall as a reminder of Westland's recent history. Each tapestry imagines an important aspect of Westland in an associative way. The combination of the five unique tapestries tells a story of this region in relation to philosophy, mythology, the arts, economics and history.
