7 textielkunstenaars exposeren bij het KCB in museum Kranenburgh
Voor de tentoonstelling Nauw Verweven lieten zeven hedendaagse textielkunstenaars zich inspireren door niet-westerse culturen. Het resultaat is te zien bij KunstenaarsCentrum Bergen (KCB) op de eerste verdieping van museum Kranenburgh in Bergen. Op de tentoonstelling ziet u onder andere werk van Itie Langeland, die tatoeages van Maori’s als inspiratie in haar werk gebruikt, terwijl Regula Maria Müller Japans papier, kralen en borduursel op neemt. Nauw Verweven duurt van 6 november 2016 t/m 2 januari 2017.
For the Palace of Justice in Amsterdam, Barbara Broekman created a few monumental works, inspired by great Baroque painters such as Rubens and Tiepolo.

My Town celebrates the cultural diversity of Amsterdam. The 40 metres long carpet was meant to be a temporary project in 2012. Since this was a great succes, the Amsterdam Museum decided to install a permanent, long lasting version of the carpet in 2016. During opening hours, visitors can walk in freely and admire this beautiful monument for diversity.
